Horn-loaded speakers for hot sound

Kicker's 48KMXL65 speakers feature a compression horn design that gives you a longer throw and louder sound, so you'll hear your music over wind and motor noise. Designed for life in the outdoors, these 6-1/2" speakers feature a slim-mount profile that's ideal for boats, not to mention motorcycle fairings or saddlebags. Whether you're on the water or on the road, these IP66-rated speakers will give you years of outstanding performance.

Rugged design and build

These 6-1/2" speakers may be easy on the ears, but they're built tough. The sealed, lightweight neodymium motors, UV-treated polypropylene woofers, and durable surrounds ensure years of quality performance. Special UV treatments on the cones, surrounds, baskets, and grilles ensure that they'll stand up to harsh sunlight.

LED lighting

These rugged speakers also offer RGB LED lighting. The LEDs are behind the bridge structure under the grille to create a cool-looking glow on the woofer cone. Depending on what combination of the three LED wires is connected, the light can be red, green, blue, lime green, magenta, aquamarine, or blue-white. A wireless remote (item number 20641KMLC, sold separately) is also available to control the backlighting. A 12-volt power supply is needed to turn the LEDs on.

Two sets of grilles

The package includes white and charcoal grilles so you can make these speakers blend in with just about any color scheme. Whether you're mounting them on a bike, in a bulkhead, or installing them in a set of Kicker's custom enclosures, these slim speakers will look great and bring great sound to your vessel or vehicle.
